USING SOCIAL MEDIA IN LEARNING PRODUCTIVITY OF ELEMENTARY PUPILS: A GUIDED ACTIVITY

ABSTRACT

This study focuses on how social play a vital role for teachers in Lian Central School to help in learning productivity of the students. The findings of this research is used to produce learning activities. Researcher utilize forty-eight (48) teachers using descriptive-evaluative and descriptive correlation.

Overall, the study discloses that most of the respondents were in a range of age 51 years old and above, and are female. Respondents agreed that most of them used social media in terms of learning, school projects and also in information gathering to further help the students in their learning productivity. Different platform should be utilized and created by the teachers to enhance academic activities and avoid setbacks in the student’s academic performance.

There is no significant difference in using social-media in learning productivity of elementary pupils when profile is considered. Learning materials are drawn to further enhance the use of social-media for academic purposes.
