ABSTRACT

Infographics are photographic representation of data, information, and knowledge content aid to present complex ideas for quick and clear way of acquiring information. The use and combination of graphs, pictures, diagram, maps, and charts are the various strategies used in infograph to present information. Infographics are used as a powerful instrument to let the audience simply absorb information with the use of visual data, charts, and statistics. Using appropriate colors, graphics, balance, and space information can be converted in impressive, catchy, and persuasive graphics. The study is quasi-experimental research design in nature. The participants of the study composed of 30 students all in all coming from the grade 12 students under Technical Vocational Livelihood track, specifically Home Economics strand in Leyte National High School. The study used purposive sampling technique which rely on the judgement of the researcher. The study shows that the Performance of the participants in the pre-test of the control and experimental group did not meet expectations in understanding special theory of relativity. The Performance of the participants improved during post-test which got a higher score than the pre-test. The experimental group performed better results than the control group. There is a significant difference of the post-test score between the control group and experimental group since group with intervention performed better than the group without intervention.
