Abstract:
In this article, the emphasis is based primarily on the communal aspect of each human person. The researcher argues that in St. Bonaventure’s Itinerarium mentis in Deum, the “co-journeyer” plays an important place in one’s journey into God. In accordance with problem of anthropocentrism nowadays, people might claim that one can actually go directly into God without other’s help. But, it is kind a selfish and precisely a self-centred one. This claims that every journey is not just a journey of a single person but of the whole community. A journey is meant for the community of human persons. And it becomes more meaningful if it is attained through the collaborative efforts of the many.

Keywords: journey, human person, co-journeyer, collaboration, community, God.
