THAT DAY AMANG-DAGTUM AND INANG-MAYDAK DISCOVERED ALL THE COLORS

· Volume VI Issue I

I

Once upon a time, before the world's grand array,

Splashing colors streaked the vast horizon wide,

Two sovereigns reigned in realms of dark and light's sway,

Amang-Dagtum the Black and Inang-Maydak the White, they vied

Amang-Dagtum, with dense aura and shadowed might,

"The darkness rules all, holding wisdom concealed,"

In the deep, where secrets lurked out of sight,

Strength and power in obscurity revealed.

II

Inang-Maydak, with glow pure and bright,

"Light brings clarity, truth forever unveiled,"

Beauty and freedom in beams of daylight,

Her domain of luminance never failed.

Their arrogance clashed, a war of hues unfurled,

Dark versus light, across the heavens they swirled.

Skies of twilight met grounds aglow,

As thunder clashed with radiant flow.

III

New entities arose, colors born anew,

Aligned with shadows or basked in light's view.

Mabaya-Pwa the playful, Everde the affluent and Bughawi the soothing peace,

Amidst the chaos, many found no release.

Their clash was cataclysmic, a universe to rend,

Space and time shattered, to darkness and light bend.

They paused, seeing chaos in their wake,

The world was a canvas of destruction at stake.

IV

"What have we done?" their hearts filled with despair,

Realizing unity was the answer, rare and fair.

Dark and light intertwined in harmony's dance,

Creating a spectrum, a vivid rainbow's expanse.

They embraced in truce, their colors merging bright,

A dazzling spectrum adorned the heavens' height.

Entities of all hues joined in jubilation's song,

A world reborn, where diversity belongs strong.

Thus ended the war of Amang-Dagtum and Maydak's might,

Replaced by unity's glow, a world bathed in light.

The lesson echoing in skies so vivid and grand,

In unity lies beauty, across every land.
