ABSTRACT

The study aims to assess that the Quality of Health Services offered by Health Workers in Nasugbu, Batangas were explored in this study. The research analyzes the quality of health services offered by the workers of Nasugbu Batangas specifically the plans and programs that can be implemented to improve their health services. And this study delved into descriptive method design which uses a survey questionnaire to gather data. Majority of the respondents are between age 25-29 female, widowed, and employed privately and above. The respondents strongly agreed on the quality of health service offered by health workers in terms of delivery services, availability of resources and patient feedback. There is a significant difference on the perception of the respondents on health services provided when profile is considered. The design action plan was made by the researcher to enhance the quality of services offered by health workers in terms of quality of health services is described as the degree of performance of the health workers to do work with respect to the defined standard of involvement of the community known to be safe and the capacity to improve health within the available resources (Khamis, 2016). It can be also seen by interpreting the use, costs, accessibility, delivery, and organization of the health care (Steinwachs, 2008). The research focused on quality of health services offered by health workers in Barangay Latag, Nasugbu, Batangas. Respondents were selected regardless of age, sex, civil status, educational attainment, and way of living. The study was limited to the level of assistance given by health workers such as accessibility, delivery, organization, information and resources. Furthermore, the level of quality of health services was based on the goals defined by Steinwachs (2008), which were patient safety, effectiveness, timeliness, patient centered, efficiency, and equity.
