ABSTRACT

On-the-job training (OJT) plays a crucial role in the development and success of individuals pursuing a career in legal management. Legal management is a course that combines business and law subjects. Law firms are the most popular career paths for legal management graduates. Such training can be an investment that will be valuable to the company later on. This is also why trainees should take their internship seriously as it can become a powerful tool and possibly even a source of recommendation when they take that big lift from being students to career professionals. Therefore, the University of Batangas in order to determine if the OJT industries meet the needs of the program outcomes set by the course program in Legal Management this research study is conducted. Likewise, on-the-job training provides an opportunity for legal managers to acquire practical skills that are necessary to perform their job effectively. It allows them to learn from real-life situations and apply the knowledge gained to handle similar scenarios in the future. Thus, these are necessary for the improvement of teaching methods, curriculum, research, and in providing practical training to the student. As such, this research aimed to identify the response of the OJT coordinators in the program's outcomes. The results show that the program outcomes identified under the Legal Management Program are adequately met by the partner Industry. PO3 and PO5 were the least Program Outcomes applied by the industry.
