PARENTS’ INVOLVEMENT IN SCHOOL ACTIVITIES

OF ELEMENTARY PUPILS: BASIS FOR
LEARNING ACTIVITY

ABSTRACT

This study focuses on how parents of Grade 2-CON in Lian Central School be engaged in school activities of their child in order to achieve academic success. The findings of this research is used to produce learning activities. Researcher utilize thirty-three (33) parents using descriptive-evaluative and descriptive correlation.

Overall, the study discloses that most of the respondents were in a range of age 31-40 years old and are female. It further aimed to that respondents typically or usually involved enlist various means of communication used to get information about their child's school performance, through academic achievement, homework and by means of their parenting style and more intervention strategies suggest for improvement of parent school relationship.

There is no significant difference in parent’s involvement in school activities of elementary pupils when profile is considered. Learning materials are drawn to further to further enhance this parent’s involvement.
