ONLINE TEACHING FATIGUE AND JOB PERFORMANCE AMONG PRIVATE COLLEGE EDUCATORS IN
SAN PEDRO CITY, LAGUNA

ABSTRACT

The main focus of this study was to determine the current levels of online teaching fatigue and job performance and if there was a significant relationship between the two variables among private college educators in San Pedro City, Laguna. The proposed action plan to manage online teaching fatigue was the output of the study. This study utilized the Descriptive Correlational Method using a quantitative technique. Through stratified random sampling, the respondents of the study were 110 private college educators in San Pedro City, Laguna. Standard questionnaires such as the Zoom Exhaustion Fatigue Scale (ZEF Scale) and Teacher’s Job Performance Self-Rating Questionnaire (TJPSQ) were used as survey instruments for gathering data.

Using the five-point Likert Scale, simple mean, and Pearson-Product Moment Correlation Coefficient, findings revealed that the level of online teaching fatigue and the level of job performance were very high among private college educators in San Pedro City, Laguna. Finally, online teaching fatigue and job performance had no significant relationship.
