The core of this study was to assess the effectiveness of More Knowledgeable Others (MKO) Approach in improving the learner’s performance in Mathematics 8 of Pangangan National High School, Calape District, Bohol Division, during the Fourth Quarter, School Year 2021-2022. Specifically, this study sought to determine the performance of the learners in Mathematics 8 before and after MKO implementation and evaluate the effectiveness of the MKO Approach in improving learners’ mathematical performance. The study employed descriptive statistics and used the mean difference to determine how effective the MKO approach in improving the performance of learners in Mathematics 8. The participants were the selected Grade 8 learners of Pangangan National High School, Talisay, Calape, Bohol. After the implementation, the results were then tabulated, interpreted, and analyzed. The results revealed that there was an increase of 16.35 or 40.88% in the learners’ average scores. Hence, there was an apparent improvement of the learners’ performance in Mathematics 8 after the MKO implementation. It was concluded that MKO Approach was an effective intervention in teaching Mathematics. Furthermore, MKO was a highly efficient and beneficial innovation since learner participants greatly improved their mathematical performance. The researchers highly recommend the adoption of the MKO Approach as an instructional innovation not just in Mathematics but in all subjects of the K-12 curriculum.
