So inspired, so success-driven, ASHS is dedicated to inspiring others to seek success for themselves.
Alitagtag Senior High School started from scratch, using the three 4-storey building provided by the government with 36 classrooms, 115 enrolled students, 8 teaching staffs which offered academic and TVL tracks. Despite the shortage of resources in terms of teaching and facilities, it didn’t stop them to lead students towards best education.
In line with this, the faculty members continue to rule the school by building a great partnership with the primary stakeholders, the parents. They want the best and that can be achieved only through the help of parental feedback that can motivate them to soar higher. As a result of this partnership, Alitagtag Senior High School was declared as the best performing school in the province of Batangas.
And today, the ASHS continues to strengthen its partnership with the Local Government Unit (LGUs) and most especially with the parents. The institution itself improves a lot from the facilities down to its faculty members and students.
The old computer laboratory is now installed with an air conditioning unit through the help of the Local Government. The outnumbered faculty members before is now 18 and still growing hence, students become academically and skilfully competitive. In fact, we have students who recently competed in National Competition; we also produced a student who passed in the University of the Philippines. We also have a teacher who received Gawad Balisong Award. Indeed ASHS has really a quality education all thanks to the high caliber teachers.
ASHS community is looking forward to have a harmonious relationship with the parents and LGU for further development of the institution. With the help of our very own feedback system, that will serve as the stepping stone for the school to rise to greatness above others. The feedback of the parents will bridge the gap, promoting a better and stronger partnership that will soon build a productive community within the school. This system can also be adapted by other school to strengthen every institution for a more organized education system. The computerized parental feedback system will help Alitagtag Senior High School to continue the tagline “Inspire to Lead.”
Through all these advances in the delivery of quality education endowed upon ASHS, we are committed to sharing the simple acts of developing fruitful connections between and among community stakeholders thereby producing lasting imprints to the hearts of many.
