IMPROVING THE ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE IN SCIENCE OF GRADE SIX PUPILS OF GOV. NATALIO & SUSANA ENRIQUEZ ELEMENTARY SCHOOL THROUGH SCIENCECRABBLE GAME

This study was conducted to improve the Academic Performance in Science of Grade 6 Pupils of Gov. Natalio & Susana Enriquez Elementary School through Sciencecrabble Game. Experimental method of research was used to answer the problem posed in this research. A total of 98 Grade 6 pupils of Gov. Natalio & Susana Enriquez Elementary School were the subject of the study. The t-test statistics was applied to find out the significant difference of the pretest and posttest scores of the respondents.
The findings revealed significant difference on the pretest and posttest, which implies the implementation of Sciencecrabble Game was, improved the academic performance of Grade 6 pupils in Science.The researcher makes limitation as of follows: (1) The study applied the games technique using the Sciencecrabble Game to improve the academic performance in Science of Garde Six Pupils from the given duration after of administering the pretest.(2) The study focuses on the vocabulary words in Science of the Grade Six pupils of Gov. Natalio & Susana Enriquez Elementary School.The pretest and posttest results served as justifications that Sciencecrabble Game is an effective intervention strategy that can help to improve the learners’ academic performance in Science.
