Nowadays, technology plays a big part in society; it also helps the education system to enhance the teaching and learning process. Integration of technology does indeed hold a remarkable promise for changing the quality of teaching and learning in school. Since it is now suggested that all educators to incorporate ICT to their everyday routine in teaching, implementing a computerized assessment is surely a great help in education.

There are several problems that arises during traditional assessment such as: some students do not have pen and paper; human error is visible in time of checking; The questionnaire was not well printed; and several questionnaires are not presentable because it is crumpled. One of the digital rise program of Department of Education (DepEd) is the Open Educational Resources (OER), this digital rise program aims to innovative a new way of teaching and learning and its focused in supporting the requirements of K to 12 Curriculum. OER concentrates in creating Computer Assisted Instruction for teaching and learning whereas the development of localized materials made possible to deliver quality up to date ICT learning materials even without strong internet facilities. This digital rise program can develop and support an interactive assessment in the public school.

The objective of digital assessment is to design a computer assisted learning assessment; create an interactive exam that will let the students answer the assessment test while having fun; provide an immediate exam result which will let the learner know their grade after exam; expose the students in the field of Information and Communication Technology; automatically check the students’ test to avoid human errors while checking the test papers; and deliver an exam result to make the teachers’ recording easier and faster.

Implementation of digital assessment was initiated at the public school last October 2019. During the implementation process the following features were observed. The digital assessment aims to promote interaction within the class and develop an alternative manner of conducting the assessment with the students in an innovative way. It consists of digital questions, answers, and feedback. It provides simple interactive tasks to engage users. Immediate feedback is provided to evaluate comprehension of students. Based on the foresee result of implementing the new method of assessment, interactive digital assessment promotes paperless way of assessing the student’s performance. It can also help the students to be exposed in other educational technology that can contribute to their excellence in education.
