Among the three learning modalities, Distance Learning, specifically, Modular Distance Learning, has been widely used according to the survey conducted by the Department of Education. This was made so for the continuity of learning. The researchers sought to know in what level of implementation is the MDL approach in Senior High School, Grade 11 ABM-Aristotle at SANHS. Self-learning modules in the second quarter were utilized.

In order to evaluate the level of implementation, a Likert Scale was used. The respondents were students, teachers and parents. Orientation to students and parents were done in order to disseminate the objectives of this study. Distribution/retrieval of survey questionnaires were given at the end of the second quarter during the distribution and retrieval of modules. In the interpretation of data, weighted mean was used. Students have difficulties in the comprehension of the modules leading to non-compliance to the scheduled retrieval time. However, due to approachable teachers, some difficulties were remedied. Parents cannot guarantee in helping the child with the assigned tasks for the lack of knowledge about the lessons. Lastly, teachers have the need to incorporate additional activities and localized examples in the modules for comprehension to be attainable.

An action plan was made by the researchers. All necessary information should be included in the modules. The importance of assessments and monitoring should be stressed out for integration gained from the modules. Utilization of PARA teachers will be very helpful in the assistance of students with their tasks.
