This study aimed to determine the factors affecting the retrieval of learning materials in modular distance learning among grade three pupils in Lian Central School, Lian, Batangas. This research study utilized the descriptive method. Purposive sampling and census were done in the selection of respondents. The respondents of the study were eight (8) grade three teachers and three hundred one (301) grade three parents. Questionnaire was the main instrument in this study. Statistics such as weighted mean, standard deviation, pearson r and t-test were utilized. The teacher-respondents agreed that parent’s availability, parent’s support to education, learning environment and schedule of retrieval were great factors that will prohibit the delay of submission of the learning materials. The parent-respondents agreed that parent’s availability, parent’s support to education, learning environment and schedule of retrieval were important factors that prevent the late submission of the output. The respondents agreed that they encountered serious problems on the retrieval of learning materials. There is significant relationship between the responses of the teachers on the factors affecting the retrieval of learning materials in modular distance learning among grade three pupils and the problems encountered from it. There is significant relationship between the responses of the parents on the factors affecting the retrieval of learning materials in modular distance learning among grade three pupils and the problems encountered on it. There is no significant difference on the perceptions of the two groups of respondents on the factors affecting the retrieval of learning materials in modular distance learning among grade three pupils. The Proposed Learning Activity Sheets were designed by the researcher based on the curriculum provided to them by the Institution.
