ABSTRACT
This study identified the English Proficiency of Grade 9 students: basis for learning activities in Banilad National High School at Banilad Nasugbu, Batangas. The respondents of the study were one hundred thirty-two (132) over one hundred ninety (190) of Grade 9. The following data were drawn from the study: The respondents test their English Proficiency in Terms of Grammar and linguistic competence, Concentration, articulation of word fluency, Degree of Metacognitive awareness, and Learning Style. x There is a significant relationship between the Proficiency in English of students and the Challenges may encounter on it.
