Product Description:

The study "ECOBEE: The Utilization of Coconut Husk and Beeswax as Sustainable Materials for the Production of Water-Repellent Eco-Friendly Bags" resulted in a line of environmentally friendly bags made from coconut husk fibers and beeswax. These bags are intended to provide consumers with a sustainable alternative to conventional synthetic materials that are both functional and environmentally conscious.

The bags are meticulously designed to be durable, water-repellent, and visually appealing. Coconut husk fibers sourced from renewable coconut resources are woven to form the bags' sturdy base, giving them a distinct texture and natural charm. Beeswax, known for its water-repellent properties, is carefully applied to the bags' surfaces to protect them from moisture and inclement weather. These bags are not only environmentally friendly but also practical and stylish. The designs are versatile, and suitable for both casual and formal occasions, making them an ideal accessory for environmentally conscious customers.

ABSTRACT

In response to growing environmental concerns and the negative effects of single-use plastics, the study "ECOBEE: The Utilization of Coconut Husk and Beeswax as Sustainable Materials for the Production of Water-Repellent Eco-Friendly Bags" investigates the potential of coconut husk and beeswax as sustainable alternatives for bag production. The study employs an experimental research design and incorporates both quantitative and qualitative methodologies. Water repellency tests and durability assessments are among the quantitative measures used, while surveys with participants in Tuy, Batangas provide qualitative insights. A thorough literature review reinforces the theoretical framework and directs the research methods. The study's scope includes an in-depth investigation of the properties of coconut husk and beeswax, their availability and affordability, and the efficacy of their combined use in the production of long-lasting, water-resistant bags. Furthermore, the study assesses the market potential, manufacturing processes, operational aspects, socioeconomic impact, management structure, and financial feasibility of introducing these eco-friendly bags into the market. The study aims to pioneer the development of a biodegradable and sustainable alternative to traditional plastic bags by upcycling coconut husk, a commonly used agricultural residue, and enhancing its natural properties with beeswax. This study seeks to address the global demand for environmentally responsible consumer products by proposing a viable solution to reduce plastic pollution and promote sustainability in the production of everyday goods. The study aims to set a new standard in eco-friendly consumer products by conducting innovative research and adhering to ethical practices.
