The hands on and minds-on learning are the core of critical thinking among learners. In our today’s curriculum it gives emphasis on student centeredness where educators serve as facilitators. The involvement of young learners to different activities gives them opportunity to explore, expand, and elaborate their learning. Each of us is born skillful and academically inclined. We have the right to choose our own track of pursuing better education. As we grow, we are potentially capable in different talents and creativity. Some are born as scientists, computer analyst, engineers, doctors, accountant, singers, dancers, creates amazing visual arts and utilizing varieties of skills. The curriculum supports learners who are capable with it.

The implementation of Science, Technology and Engineering Curriculum (STE) among Junior High School students is a milestone of DepEd. In this modern world surrounded by scientific information, this curriculum relevantly fitted wherein it provides scientific inquiry, observing and enhances students curiosity. The special curriculum program aims to produce learners who are scientifically inclined which promotes hands-on learning through scientific approach. It also aims to produce holistically developed learners with high interest in the field of Science that can be future researchers and scientists. Learner expresses and shows that Science plays vital role in our modern society proven that it was successfully implemented. Nowadays, DepEd produces graduates which are now young professional under STE curriculum wherein most of them gives an excellent performance in terms of scientific research/approaches and in other discipline.
