ASSESSMENT ON THE LEVEL OF WORK PERFORMANCE OF SCHOOL FACILITIES COORDINATORS IN THE CITY

INTRODUCTION

Education is a dynamic process of acquiring knowledge, habits, attitudes, interests, skills and abilities and other intangible human qualities through training instructions and self-activity and transmitting these vital elements of human civilization to posterity. The government design different programs that can address the needs in different aspect of education. One of these is the developing and improving the Educational and/or School Facilities all over the country, specifically public schools include Elementary, Secondary, Colleges, and State Universities. According to 2010 Educational Facilities Manual, the term “educational facilities” refers to all the physical properties of a school, consisting of the grounds, buildings, and the various facilities within the school grounds and inside the school buildings. The school head may serve as the school Facilities Coordinator but shall appoint an alternate among other school personnel to assist in the implementation of School Facilities development plan. 

The study focused on the Level of the Work Performance of the School Facilities Coordinators in the City Schools Division Office of Antipolo. The respondents of the study consisted of 68 or 100% school School Facilities Coordinators within the Division. They were described in terms of years in service as teacher, length of service as School Facilities Coordinators and seminars attended related to School Facilities Coordinator Function. Descriptive survey research design was applied utilizing a researcher-made questionnaire-checklist. Due to pandemic and limited face to face set-up, the researcher utilized Google Form for data gathering. The Level of Work Performance of School Facilities Coordinator was determined.
