PURPOSE: Assessment of the Task Performance of the Grade 12 SHS on Work Immersion towards crafting enhancement activities for more sustainable learning
DESIGN: Quantitative Research was utilized since it attempts to assess the Task Performance on Work Immersion
FINDINGS: The students Fully Met Job Requirements in terms of Work Habits, Work Skills and Social Skills. Work habits develop the identity to have advancement of their capabilities while Work skills set their mind for eyeing for versatile opportunities to boost their confidence and gratitude. On the other hand, Social Skills develop interrelationship to certain tasks.
RESEARCH LIMITATIONS: This study is limited to the Task Performance during the Work Immersion of the TVL and Academic Strand students of Calamba Integrated School
VALUE: Work immersion is able to give enhancement of the student’s capabilities and to help them to achieve their self-esteem and prepare their physical and mental behaviour for their college and employment career. This research would create an enhancement activity for more sustainable learning.

Work immersion is an important way for the students to discover a new world with regards to the essence of working setting. For some students, immersion is one way to execute one’s capabilities it showcases the student’s instincts and willingness to work and learn at the same time. Aside from a being a requirement, it serves at training ground in preparation for the real work scenario.
Throughout the school year, Students participate in a work immersion that stresses employability and independent living skills. Which was the major areas focusing on working responsibly, communicating effectively, and do their job-specific-skills through a rotation of unpaid students internships. Throughout the rotation, which begin in the second semester of the S.Y. Students will each experienced in different task assigned by the industry during the period of work immersion. Otherwise, Worksite assignment will be based on students track, interest, and assessment. School & industry collaborate to provide support with students taking in more responsibility as they gain independence.
Working Immersion gives them a taste of the real world a glimpse of what lies ahead after they graduate. Jack (2013) stated that being a trainer in some serious workplace makes you a little bit nervous that’s why some of the trainers are more likely to stay at placed and do some boring stuff. Social learning theory has been developed primarily to describe and predict how people learn from observation models. Learning from models has been shown to be more efficient than trial and error learning under many conditions.
Truly, the work immersion has been fruitful, inspiring and eye-opening experience for the Grade 12 students, as one student noted as comment in the work immersion evaluation.

This experience did not merely serve as an eye-opener, but an experience that established respect and teamwork that would be part of a student's life forever."
