ABSTRACT
This study entitled an Implementing Program of Disaster Readiness and Environmental Awareness of Students in Pantalan Senior High School, Nasugbu, Batangas aims to determine the extent of level of disaster readiness and environmental awareness of senior high school students of Senior High School in Nasugbu, Batangas in terms of prevention and mitigation, readiness; response; rehabilitation and recovery. It also aimed to investigate if there is any significant relationship between the level of disaster readiness and environmental awareness and the demographic profile of the respondents. More importantly, this study envisions a disaster readiness and environmental awareness program that be implemented to strengthen environmental education in the public school system. This study utilized the descriptive method of research and employed survey questionnaire to gather necessary data for analysis. Data revealed no significant relationship between disaster readiness and the respondents profile variables. No significant relation was also found between environmental awareness and profile variables but found a signifcant relationship between environmental awareness and disaster readiness.
