ABSTRACT
This research endeavors to evaluate the prevailing risk experiences and response strategies employed by security guards in Albay Province, Philippines. With a focus on enhancing security protocols and ensuring the well-being of security personnel, the study addresses specific objectives outlined the demographic profiles of the respondents are meticulously examined, encompassing age, sex, educational attainment, length of service, and training attended. These variables provide crucial insights into the composition of the security guard workforce in Albay Province. The study identifies and analyzes the risk experiences encountered by security guards, categorizing them into physical security threats, emergency situations, and challenges related to customer service. Understanding these risks is fundamental to devising effective response strategies. Moreover, the research delves into the response strategies adopted by security guards, considering the aforementioned demographic variables. By examining the correlation between demographic attributes and response tactics, the study aims to discern nuanced approaches to risk mitigation. Statistical analysis is employed to infer significant relationships between risk experiences and response strategies, shedding light on the effectiveness of existing security protocols in addressing various threats faced by security guards in Albay Province.
Based on the findings and insights garnered throughout the study, a comprehensive safety and care plan is proposed. This plan encompasses preventive measures, training enhancements, and support systems tailored to safeguard the welfare and security of security guards in Albay Province.
