ABSTRACT
Araling Panlipunan is one of the most interesting and useful subjects taught in all levels. It is one that brings changes and innovations in terms of economic, political, physical and social environment in the society. It is an integrative learning program/area which is essential component of the Philippine K-12 Curriculum which promises developing Filipinos with ability to co-exist in fruitful harmony with local and global communities. This study utilized the descriptive method of research involving sixteen (15) grade 9 students. The following are the results of the study.
The respondents agree that the delivery of the lesson, learning resources, learners’ attitude toward the subject and the mastery of the content of the lessons are factors that affect their performance in Araling Panlipunan 9.
The respondents agree that they have difficulties in learning the lesson in Araling Panlipunan and there are factors met that affect their performance as well.
There is a significant relationship between the factors that affect the performance of the respondents in Araling Panlipunan and the difficulties encountered on it.
The Learning Activities is designed to enhance the performance of the students in Araling Panlipunan and to lessen their difficulties in the subject.
