Introduction and Rationale

Administrative work in the Department of Education involves a wide range of tasks and responsibilities. Administration in education includes creating and maintaining records, managing budgets, providing support services, and ensuring the efficient flow of operations within the department. It also includes creating and maintaining systems to ensure that educational services and processes are managed effectively. The Department of Education requires administrators to be knowledgeable in the processes and policies of the department, including the laws and regulations that govern educational practices. The administrator must be able to interpret, monitor, and implement the policies and procedures necessary to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and quality of the educational services provided. Furthermore, they must possess strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders, and strong leadership skills.

One of the important tasks that an administrative officer needs to be completed in a timely and organized manner is to ensure accuracy and compliance with all relevant regulations. This includes filing records such as student transcripts, test scores, and other official documents. Additionally, the filing of documents related to budgeting and financial planning, faculty and staff records, and other relevant items are necessary to keep the department running smoothly. The filing process also serves as a way to track the progress of projects and initiatives within the department, allowing for more efficient and effective management. Furthermore, the filing of documents helps to maintain the security of confidential information, ensuring that only those with the proper authorization can access sensitive data.

The 201 files of the employees of the Department of Education are important part of the administrative work. They are used to keep track of the various tasks and duties of the employees in the department. They also help to ensure that all the employees are following the rules and regulations set by the department. By regularly updating and maintaining these files, the department is able to keep track of the progress of each employee and ensure that all the tasks are completed in a timely manner.

There are problems with manually accessing the 201 files of an administrative officer is the amount of time it takes. It can easily take hours or even days to locate, open, and review each file. Additionally, manual access to the files can be cumbersome, as it requires an individual to manually search through each file, which can be difficult and time-consuming. In addition, manual access to the files can lead to errors, as it is easy to miss crucial information or overlook important details.

The researcher conducted action research to investigate using a database to streamline administrative workflow and increase accessibility to 201 files to make the administrative officer more efficient, accurate, and reliable. With the help of this database, the organization can easily analyze, store and retrieve data quickly and accurately. This will help to improve the productivity and efficiency of the organization. Furthermore, the database can be used to create reports and track the performance of the administrative officers. This will help to better manage the organization in the long run.
